Spot Willows is a multidisciplinary creative-being exploring the tension between life and inanimate objects. Currently completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Griffith University, she embraces feminine imperfection through expressive mark-making, found materials, and raw textures. Her work captures the glamour in the fleeting beauty of existence, evoking themes of memory, decay, and transformation. With a whimsical touch, she blurs the line between the human form and the objects surrounding it, reimagining discarded materials as surreal, dreamlike figures.
Willows’ recent exhibitions include her participation in the 2024 QCAD Grad Show, where her thought-provoking installation received acclaim for pushing the boundaries of storytelling and materiality. She is also an active member of the local arts community through showing her own artworks as well as Curating & Organising events under Art Show Factory.
